The ease of draping is just one aspect of the saree. It’s designed keeping in mind the different body types, shapes and sizes. Meet Ms Pallavi Naidu!
I graduated from National Institute of Fashion Technology, an acronym for NIFT, at Hyderabad in the year 2011. Soon after, I worked with a design team of renowned designers in Mumbai designing exquisite embroidery details. With zeal to be diversified and distinct, I resigned from my job to initiate my own label in the year 2012.
Pallavi Naidu Designs (PND) is about creative ideas that are wearable and affordable, which are made for a cause, a reason or as an inspiration. The label works on clothing concepts which marries the art of design and the technology of science. Having built the clientele, PND participated in the Bangalore Fashion Week, for Winter-Festive 2013 where I showcased a collection on the usage of denim fabric in Indian Wear. This concept was well received after which we, as PND, entered online portals like indianroots.in etc .
Risks and challenges
Production related :
We will be manufacturing these sarees at Bangalore .These sarees are digitally printed and are made in bulk,using industrial machinery and synthetic dyes. The fabrics are of good quality and pass through basic testing parameters . As this is the first time ever that we are making sarees that come in 12 sizes there could be minor manual errors in shipping sizes or understanding right sizes according to your height and bust size.In such cases we can have the sarees exchanged to the preferred size once we receive the previously sent parcels back. We are using Bangalore as our distribution and quality fulfilment hub before shipping finally to end consumers( This should solve most of the issues). As for international shipping we will be informing you about the shipment provider details before we ship. If you prefer to use any other delivery service there will be excess charges , that you may have to incur.

How is Selfie Saree Different from other sarees?
This Saree can be worn within 6 minutes maximum & it’s the world's first saree to have 12 sizes.
Does the saree come with a blouse?
No, the saree doesn’t come with the blouse. But these sarees have funky prints and fresh colors, so you can team them up with any crop top or blouses.
Are the draping/ markings visible after I wear the sari?
Yes, it is visible as a design detail, as the Selfie-Saree is an innovation. The inch tape detail is the key element of this patented product.
Do you have an online video to demonstrate the draping?
The saree comes with ready markings which you can drape in just 4 easy steps, which wouldn’t need any sort of online videos.
Can the same sari be used to learn different draping styles?
The Selfie Saree is a basic drape pattern of a regular saree. It cannot be used for learning different drapes.
Cotton Sarees are difficult to drape when compared to the other fabric. Will this print help me get the perfect draping?
Sarees can be difficult to drape given any fabric. But with this print on, we can guarantee that you will get the perfect pleating every single time.
I have a few beautiful saris with me, and it’s hard to wear them. Can this concept be applied to the already existing saris?
We are still working on a way to apply this concept on the existing saris.
Does the size (height & weight) of the wearer matter, or is it one size fits all?
Since the Selfie Saree is marked for easy location and guidance, it has become mandatory to categories them into different sizes based on the bust size and the height. So please follow the size guide before placing your order.
Does it make a good gift item?
It is an excellent choice for a gift as it has all the required features to make a woman happy. Saree has been India’s integral clothing attire, so it can be gifted to your wife, girlfriend, or sister. Or it can just be gifted as an article of souvenir.
What is the wash care instruction for this sarees?
Dry Clean Only.
Will the print on the saree stay after wash?
Yes they will stay, These are digitally printed sarees under quality parameters.
Is the same saree available offline or any other online portal?
No, it is currently available only on FuelADream.
What is your return policy?
There is no Return policy, however you can exchange the product once the Return parcel quality is qualified, the Return Courier should be borne by the customer.
What if I don’t get my saree within the given time period?

What are the crowdfunding charges?
Fueladream charges 2% for the payment for the payment gateway and 7% as crowdfunding charges. With GST the total comes to 10.62%. There is also an initial fee of 3000 INR which is being waived for us.
