Arjun was a spirited young boy, who didn’t get bogged down with the plight of his family. Even though there was no certainty of even getting a single meal a day, he committed himself to excelling in sports. As fate would have it - when you are clear with your goal, things begin to happen. In Arjun’s life, hope came in the form of his archery coach - the famous LIMBA RAM (a Padma Shri Award & Arjuna Award winner) and an ace archer. Limba Ram was quick to spot Arjun’s talent and encouraged him to channel his efforts into mastering archery.
Limba Ram's excellence in archery is well known as he made India proud in the OLYMPICS. He also won the PADMA SHRI and the ARJUNA AWARDS! He continues to express his love and dedication for the sport by training archers like Arjun.

Since, Arjun was always interested in sports, the guidance received from Ram only strengthened his grit and he continued to practice archery. Just like nothing distracted Arjuna in the Mahabharata when he takes his aim, modern-day Arjun too, was steadfast in his practice sessions.
Soon, it was time to test his mettle and Arjun got a chance to participate in a local archery competition. He came out an indisputable winner in the contest. This boosted his confidence immensely. Ram continued to train Arjun and he soon reached a level where he was representing Rajasthan and winning at events.
If he qualifies in the Trials in Baraeily, he will be eligible to compete at the World Cup Championship, Germany in August 2017!
