Music and comedy are indeed linked in more ways than one! They share the same rhythm. They also light up our lives, make us think and add to our joys and squeals of laughter. In an endeavor to light up many more lives, Vasu Dixit Collective and LoLbagh are coming together to wow the audience with a beautiful performance showcasing their love for Kannada & appreciation for the folks of Namma Bengaluru. The shows offer an interesting blend of music and stand-up comedy. The performers will share the same platform for the very first time! A unique combination such as this has never happened before, and this sure promises to be an event everyone in Bangalore city will look forward to.

However, this extravaganza is merely a dream and will only be fulfilled if it receives the support of fans, friends, well wishers & the crowd!

A total of INR 6.72 lakhs is required to bring these events to life! Let’s do our bit for the love of music and stand-up comedy. Fund this and spread joy and cheer for ‘Kannada’ & the folks of Namma Bengaluru!

Venue for the shows

Unlike other shows that happen amidst gusto and glory, this pair of performances by Vasu Dixit Collective & Lolbagh will happen in an apartment complex that is home to both the young and old, a demographic that seldom gets a chance to be a part of such events. This is scheduled to start in  September 2017.

The second event will be at one of the city’s many corporate houses, as a lot of employees have travelled across India and have now made Bangalore their home. These performers are putting up this show in a bid to welcome people to this wonderful city, give them a lot to laugh about , introduce them to stand-up comedy in Kannada and make them groove to foot-tapping music. We estimate 2500  employees will attend & make this a night to remember!

Vasu Dixit Collective is a space for musicians and artists to come together, collaborate and create. This is also part of Vasu’s journey to find himself as a musician and an artist. Vasu’s open-throated voice is a free-spirited celebration of life, whether he sings with his band Swarathma or on his own. A composer, musician and filmmaker in equal measure his craft brings many nuances of art into one space.

LoLbagh has performed in 25 shows since last 6 months.. We are a group of comedians doing experimental comedy in Kannada including Stand up, Sketches and Ventriloquism.

Our motto is to entertain people and help them to ease their stress with comedy. We have have performed 25 houseful shows in places like Bengaluru, Mysuru and many other cities.
