KIDS FOR KIDS – Students of ABC school in Chennai are raising awareness and funds to transform the lives of children who come from financially stressed homes. These children are from villages in different parts of Tamil Nadu. They are provided with stay, food, uniforms, etc and their education is sponsored at a nearby school. Their expenses for the entire year are about INR 36000 of which education amounts to INR 10000.
Through this campaign, students will raise INR 20000 INR to fund education for a child for 2 entire years. This is being done in partnership with an NGO known as AIM FOR SEVA. They have hostels across the country called Chatralayams where these children stay.

The NGO Aim For Seva is Chennai based. They have 97 hostels called Chatralayam's across 16 states in India. In Tamil Nadu, there are a total of 20 Chatralayams of which 6 are for girls and 14 are for boys. These 20 Chatralayams house 967 needy students from different villages across TN.

ABOUT ME AND MY CAMPAIGN
My name is KESHAV and I am in Grade 11 at the ABC School, Chennai.
I have undertaken this campaign because I think being able to impact the life of a needy child (who possibly is my age) by giving them education for two entire years would be incredible.
The fact that just INR 20000 can fund their education for 2 years is something that made me want to do this even more. Please fund my campaign as a simple act of kindness on your part can have a profound impact on a child’s life. It will give them education, confidence and wonderful life.
As an individual, I am trying to raise INR 20000 to impact 1 child for 2 years by funding their education. Let us make a difference together. If I collect more fund’s we could transform the lives of more children.
ABOUT AIM FOR SEVA
A registered charitable trust, AIM for SEVA journey with rural children begins with primary education and ends with employment. They are Chennai based
AIM for Seva was founded by Swami Dayananda Saraswati at the turn of the century. It essentially implies a network for Seva and through Seva and service, we connect with people and bridge the rural and urban divide through education. For it is through learning that young people from rural India can come out of poverty and eventually contribute to the nation’s progress.
From educating rural India, we have now moved to provide employment to students who come from the hinterlands. Over the years, we have expanded our reach and focus. Today we have 129 projects across 16 states spanning rural education, community development, healthcare, Vedic studies and support for special kids and differently abled adults.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We are raising fund to transform the lives of needy children from rural villages in Tamil Nadu. Once the campaign ends we will post an update to keep you and the funders abreast of the beneficiaries. Feedback will be given as a report with pictures and a fact sheet about the students who got benefitted.

Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as the NGO is a registered trust and you can avail of benefits under section 80G of the IT act. Foreign funding is accepted too.
FEEDBACK THAT YOU GET
To ensure that there is complete transparency I shall get a report from Aim For Seva (this takes between 1 to 3 months usually after the funds are raised & transferred to them) telling me who benefitted from the funding. The details will then be posted on the UPDATES section of my campaign and will be in a format like the one below. As soon as I post an update, the platform will send an SMS and EMAIL alert to all the funders - i.e. to you. Click on the link on the email and you can read about which child benefitted. That's transparent right.

FAQs
Will we get to know the details of who benefitted?
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to Aim For Seva. It will take from 2 to 3 months after that to get details of fund use. Once I get this information from them I shall upload this on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries.
When do I get the receipts?
It takes up to 2-weeks after the campaign is closed for the monies to be transferred to NGO. The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an Idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online.
