WE NEED YOUR HELP TO PROVIDE TABLES AND BENCHES TO A SCHOOL. READ OUR STORY AND FUND GENEROUSLY.
We are five friends who study in grade 8 at the Vidyashilp Academy and have taken up a project to provide tables and benches to a school in Bangalore. This is also a part of WFUNA’s (World Federation of United Nations Association) Mission Possible programme. The school is Gnana Jyothi Vidya Mandira located in Bangalore. The students at the school sit on mats or on poor and non-ergonomic seating arrangements.
JUST INR 5138 WILL GIVE 2 STUDENTS A DESK AND BENCH.
There are 120 school children enrolled for the academic year 2019-2020, and when we looked into the family / socio-economic background, all of the 120 children are from below poverty line families. The school also includes children with learning disabilities, hearing impaired, and autism. Such children need a special school which their parents are neither aware of nor want to take the trouble to research and send them to. Gnana Jyothi Vidya Mandira has teachers trained to cope with a few of these issues but no teaching aids are available for the same.
THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE NOW
To make our dream a reality, we need your help. Every rupee you contribute, small or big in amount, to this project, will help improve the school and the experience of every student who goes there. Our target is raising 4.5 Lakhs, which is why we need your contributions! Our first aim is to ensure that there are enough tables and benches, anything we raise above that will go to building a kitchen for mid-day meals and then the library and so on.
ABOUT ME & THIS CAMPAIGN
My name is Adya Satanal, and study in grade 8 at Vidyashilp Academy, Bangalore.
I have taken up this campaign as I think that helping a group of children to get better learning, by assisting them with their needs would be very beneficial. This initiative is taken up by our team- 'Team Euphoria'.
This project is a part of WFUNA mission possible program. WFUNA is a non-profit organization representing and coordinating a membership of over 100 national united nations associations (UNAs), guided by the vision of the united nations. We plan on working with the students of Gnana Jyothi Vidya Mandir which is a school situated at Devanahalli, Bangalore.
The students come from a very low background thus we aim at providing the necessities and facilities that will help in improving their studies. We will tackle the problems of furniture and clean drinking water first. our project encircles upon SDG 4,6 and 9 which are respectively, Quality Education; Clean Water and Sanitation; and Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
The amount I want to raise for this campaign is INR 75,000 but with more of your contribution the more we can help these children, by providing other facilities like music and sports equipment, these can also be beneficial for the autistic children studying in that school. We look forward for your support through generous contributions and best wishes!!

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
