Tragedies do not come with a warning. On the 25th of September 2017, one such tragedy hit Lakshmi N Narayan (45) who slipped between the train and the platform thereby, losing his life. He is survived by a grieving wife and two daughters aged 9 and 14. He was the sole breadwinner for his family who are now left unsupported and their future oblivious. With his sudden demise, he could not plan any financial security for his family.

The 45 year-old Salesman was visiting Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada with his daughter in a train. He got down at the station to buy a ticket where he slipped and fell in between the train and the platform which caused his death. The train left the station with his daughter still inside. During the journey it was discovered by the co-passengers that the child was alone and the details of the incident at the previous station were brought to light.

Mr. Lakshmi Narayan was the sole bread winner for his young family. He was an ace salesman and the anchor for the team.

This campaign is to help the family survive this gruesome tragedy and ensure that the children’s education continues till they become employable. The funds generated through this campaign are for his family’s long term financial security.

ABOUT ME:

My name is Dhruv, and I lead a Sales vertical for an MNC.  I have, in the past, worked with leading brands like – Wipro and Mondelez.  I know of Mr Lakshmi Narayan as an extremely hard working and sincere salesman. My thoughts go out to his family in this hour of grief and hence, would like to raise money through friends, family, well-wishers and people who would like to join me in this initiative to help the family.

I would like to, personally appeal to all to come forward and fund this campaign generously so that we can meet the goal of ensuring smooth education of his daughters. We are working to help the family long term and make sure that Mr. Narayan’s children get the education he would have wanted them to have.

The joy of working the market with the Mr Laksmi Narayan may no more be available to us but the joy of being able to support his family in this hour of grief and monetary insecurity can be ours.

The amount targeted will help sustain the kids education for the next 7-8 years and base sustenance for the family. The funds collected through this campaign will be directly transferred in the wife’s account. He was not financially secure and not entitled to pension.

What are the crowdfunding charges?

Fueladream charges 2% for the payment for the payment gateway and 7% as crowdfunding charges. With GST the total comes to 10.62%. There is also an initial fee of 3000 INR which is being waived for us.
