I am Kenishaa Francis and this is our Afro-Latin Project!
We're a band from Bangalore, India and we've been working on our original music video for the last 12 months. At all our shows where we have performed, we have played our originals and the response has just got us stoked! Incredibly motivating , this has convinced us to make this our dream and share it with each one of you. We've brought in elements of Afro and Latin with a twist of Indian harmonies to our tunes. Working with experts from the industry, we've learnt how to give this genre, all the life it needs. We've realised that the best element on stage when we perform live, are the band members. Each of us have an electrifying energy that keeps us jumping and grooving ALL THE TIME. Hence, our choice is to fulfil our dreams with music and nothing else. All we have for it is, LOVE, PASSION, HAPPINESS, COMMITMENT and STRENGTH.
Our songs have been a dream for what seems a very long time now. It's a fresh sound in the Indie market, but a challenging one. Hence, it's taken all we've got to justify the genre and also do well with it. Our music has been arranged and produced by professionals in Boston and India. Fruition happens only when we can bring all possible elements to get you living our music with us. Thankfully, our family and friends have been our never ending supporters. Their belief in our music pushes us to set new benchmarks.

This campaign to raise funds for our first single called 'MI AMOR'.( Means MY LOVE in Spanish) It is song that integrates Salsa and Latin beats. We're ready to shoot this video in Goa, to retain the authenticity of the music and dancing style. Your funding today, can help us make this video come alive and we promise you're going to love it.
All our songs are made in three languages (English-Spanish/Tamil-Spanish/Telugu-Spanish), I know you think we're crazy!!, so do we. So, its three videos effectively that you're helping us produce. We would love to release our single in November 2017 on all platforms. Our songs have been majorly influenced by 'GRATITUDE' and 'ACCEPTANCE'. Combination of Afro beats and Latin rhythms with regional languages are only a few days away from our dreams becoming a reality. We love to dance on stage and we want to make music that will make you dance too - make you dance anywhere and every time you listen to us.
To give you all that we've promised costs us money - a lot of money. Every element that goes into making our song come alive, won't be possible without the various creative and logistic teams like the Cast ,crew, creative dept, producers, locations etc.Then add the cost of local Radio channels, marketing teams, PR Agencies etc to make it popular. We want to give you the best and will ensure that there are no compromises made!

ABOUT ME
I am a Performer, Actor, Anchor. I was a finalist in India's first English singing reality show called 'The Stage' that was aired on Colors Infinity. I started learning music with "jazz" at the London College of Music. With a soulful voice and my multilingual ability as a singer, i aim to produce music for Bollywood/Tollywood/Kollywood and also for international languages such as Spanish, French and Italian.
Other accolades include being a professional dancer in Latin styles and am known for the animations done at my live events. I have the ability to get everyone there dancing!I have also earned titles as the 'Nightingale of Bangalore', 'Voice of the Sea', 'Bangalore's Best' etc. Do click on the link below to get a sense of my ability as a singer.

We want to take this giant leap, a leap that has costed us our everything! It's not easy to make a living out of music, and we still try hard anyway. But sometimes, we can't do this on our own. We need your support on this, and we need it now. We're really running out of time to shoot this video for multiple logistic and technical reasons and this is all the time we've got left.
Also, although our goal is INR 5,00,000/- , we encourage you to PLEASE keep donating even if we've hit our goal. If we make more money, we can do even more with the album and expand the reach of both our music and our touring.
