Farmers and those living in villages have also been gravely affected during this lockdown. Many of them don't have groceries at home, except for some wheat and rice. They don't have cash either to buy essential commodities. The small shops in the village, from where they could have got some credit, have run out of stock. Farmers and daily-wage workers hardly stock anything, be it cash or essential items, they also have been left with no income owing to the lockdown.
Funds from this campaign will be used in the Sujangarh district of Rajasthan.

ABOUT ME
My name is NANDINI TARPARIA, I am in Grade 11 at Hill Springs International School.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways. Perhaps the hardest hit is the daily wage earners, migrant labour and the financially poor in villages. Suddenly they are without any source of income, and they are not able to provide food or the basic hygiene facilities to their families. They fear starvation more than the virus itself. At this juncture, we, the more privileged sections of the society need to step up to support them in this difficult time. The lockdown being extended puts an additional burden on them.
I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can also contribute to their well-being in our own small little way. This campaign aims to provide grocery kits to them. Let's come together and do our bit to help our fellow countrymen.
