MATERIAL USED:
OUTER FABRIC: The outer fabric used in the SWITCH is called Nylon PU Coated. The Fabric is waterproof with a PU coating at the back of the fabric. The front side structure of the jacket has been specifically designed to make it look classy. It's one of the most expensive fabrics and mainly used by the reputed International brands.
INNER FABRIC: The Inner fabric is PNP Peach. It is a non-waterproof, but windproof fabric. It has a very light coating at the back which makes it windproof and keeps the body warm.
PU LEATHER PATCH: A Polyurethane leather fabric is used on the Outer chest part of the jacket to give the jacket a very rich & luxurious look.
What is RFID and why should we protect ourselves from its theft?
Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) is the use of radio waves to read and capture information stored on a tag attached to an object. A tag can be read from up to several feet away and does not need to be within direct line-of-sight of the reader to be tracked.
RFID-blocking walls are designed to help insulate you from a very particular brand of electronic pickpocketing, called RFID skimming. The concern is that some credit cards, passports, and driver’s licenses now come with embedded radio frequency identification chips. When activated by an RFID reader, these chips transmit certain types of information wirelessly, so that you can verify your identity or even make a purchase without swiping your card. The downside: Anyone with an RFID reader can activate those chips and pick up whatever information they’re designed to transmit. And, if they’re sneaky about it, they can do it without your knowledge.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE :
The shipping schedule indicated below is what we plan to stick to. However if we get to our campaign goal earlier we will start production 10 days after getting to the goal & will start shipping well ahead of schedule . This is what we have done for our previous 3 crowdfunding campaigns. Currently the plan is to ship out these jackets starting MID JAN 2018.

The VERSATYL has now become the India's Most Crowdfunded apparel brand having raised over INR 60 Lakhs for their TRAVEL , BOMBER & FEATHER range of jackets in earlier crowdfunding campaigns on FuelAdream.All our jackets have had unique features - starting from the Versatyl Travel Jacket that had 18 pockets and 29 features to the FEATHER which is the lightest jacket in the world under 10 USD (it weighs just 179 grams) and has set the record for the same!
Risks and challenges
PRODUCTION RELATED
We are a garment production firm & have a trained set of workers & designers. We are aiming to start shipping out Jackets from mid JAN 2018. If the campaign does extremely well and we reach our goal earlier than planned, we could start shipping by END DEC 2017. We don't expect delays as we have already done 5 very successful crowdfunding campaigns and have shipped out jackets AHEAD of schedule. Acts of god w.r.t inclement weather may be spoilers.

We run a tight ship & have an efficient structure. We have automated machines with high labour productivity. Further. crowdfunding means our INVENTORY & WORKING CAPITAL requirements are almost ZERO as we get funds in advance. That translates into very low costs for us. Rather than try & make big profits we would rather build a big brand. We decided we would pass on most of the benefits of this lower price to you - our funder.

Emirate Fashions Pvt Ltd has a long history in clothing manufacturing and has been making garments for a few of the reputed brands in India. The VERSATYL 'SWITCH' jacket is the result of massive demand that we've been observing from customers who want something light and simple and affordable.
Where are our products manufactured?
We are a Bengaluru based company and we manufacture our products out of our factory in R.T. Nagar @ Bangalore . Bangalore is now the startup capital for everything now in India .
What are our labour practices?
We pay our workers as per the Indian governments daily wage act. All the tailors & artisans who work in our factory are above the age of 21. We are an equal opportunity employer.
Is the Jacket waterproof?
The jacket is water resistant & not waterproof. If exposed to heavy rainfall, water might begin to seep in through the seams.
What are the care/cleaning guidelines?
The care and cleaning maintenance of the jacket are fairly basic. It can be washed on any machine wash setting. Since its water resistant most things will swipe right off the jacket as well! Do not IRON it though.
What is your policy on returns?
We do not have a return policy. Since we are crowdfunding it and doing this at a breakthrough price we cannot afford a return policy.
What happens if the jacket is delivered damaged?
If the product is received damaged, you will have 48 hours to contact us and book an exchange. Post the 48-hour period, we will not be in a position to accept exchange requests.
