For most of us, ‘THALASSEMIA’ is just another term that we have read somewhere or heard about. However, in stark reality, thousands of patients battle Thalassemia on a regular basis, all through their lives. Thalassemia is a genetic blood disorder that leads to an excessive destruction of red blood cells, which results in anaemia. I want to be a life saver and help those with Thalassemia through this crowdfunding campaign.
MY NAME IS MANJUNATH AND I AM A CYCLIST. I AM PUSHING MY LIMITS TO HELP THOSE SUFFERING FROM THALASSEMIA. HELP ME IN RAISING INR 150000 TO HELP COVER THE BLOOD TRANSFUSION COSTS FOR 75 INDIVIDUALS SUFFERING FROM THALASSEMIA.

I am Manjunath, I work as a developer with a team lead role at Accenture , Bangalore and will be cycling 700+ kms in 3 days from Bangalore to Kanyakumari. I plan to do this ride from the 26th of January to the 28th of January 2018. This means I will need to cycle 250 KMS plus a day to reach my goal.
Cycling is my passion and I am riding to support 75 needy thalassemia patients for their blood transfusions. Let’s make their new year special. Please come forward and contribute for this cause.

FAQs
Will we get to know details of the people who benefitted?
Yes you will get basic information about how many people were funded and when, while respecting their PRIVACY . After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to BMST. It will take from 30 to 120 days after that to get details of who the beneficiary was. BMST can share the personal details of the beneficiaries only if they give written consent.Otherwise at some details like contact number, age of the patient and so on can be shared. Once I get this information from the team at BMST I will update the information on the campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries.
What are the crowdfunding charges?
Fueladream charges 2% for the payment for the payment gateway and 7% as crowdfunding charges. With GST of 18% the total comes to 10.62% . There is also an initial fee of 3000 INR which is being waived for us.
When do I get the tax receipts?
It takes upto 2 weeks after the campaign is closed for the monies to be transferred to BMST. The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
