The storm is the first super cyclone to form in the Bay of Bengal since 1999. AMPHAN devastated the Sundarbans, a mangrove area around the India-Bangladesh border home to four million people on Wednesday afternoon, before moving north and north-eastwards towards Kolkata and other districts of W.Bengal. The citizens had to bear the brunt of the Cyclone with winds gusting up to 185km/h (115mph). At least 72 people have died in West Bengal state.
Help us give emergency shelter/relief kits. Each kit has 50 plus items, costs INR 7500, and impacts a family of four. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said the devastation in Kolkata, the state capital, was "a bigger disaster than COVID-19". "Area after area has been ruined," Ms.Banerjee was quoted as saying by the Press Trust of India news agency "I have experienced a war-like situation today.

Cyclone Amphan has left untold misery and devastation in West Bengal. It caused havoc in at least 14 districts and caused very severe damage in South 24 Parganas, Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, and East Midnapore districts. Relief efforts are being slowed down due to the COVID-19 lockdown and mass rehabilitation is being hindered by the fear of contracting the virus. Many of them have lost a lot of their belongings and the need of the hour is to provide those affected by the Cyclone with an emergency shelter kit. The SHELTER KIT FROM ROTARY HAS 50+ ITEMS WILL HELP THEM TIDE OVER THE CRISIS ON A IMMEDIATE BASIS.

Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as ROTARY BANGALORE INDIRANAGAR is a registered & you can avail of benefits under section 80G of IT act. Foreign funding is accepted too.
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to Rotary Bangalore Indiranagar. It will take from 60 to 120 days after that to get details of who the beneficiary was with details of them. Once I get this information from them I shall upload the picture of the beneficiary on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries.
It takes up to 2-3 weeks after the campaign is closed for the monies to be transferred to the NGO. The receipts will start getting processed about 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
