"Students for Students" is a website & platform started by 15 students from BIS and one student from the ABWA school that helps students across India learn new skills, explore new activities and brush up on their academics through online video calls. We offer a number of academic and activity-based courses, collated and taught by only the best. The quarantine has left us stressed, constrained, and bored; we hope our online learning platform will give students an opportunity to make the most of your free time and develop your learning.
The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eye gear makes it a very high risk for medical workers during COVID-19 times. Let's help them with PPE (Personal Protective gear in their fight against coronavirus)
There is a sense of alarm among healthcare professionals across India. In order for health care workers to do their job, they need to be protected against the virus themselves, for which they need Personal Protection Kits. A PPE kit includes gloves, gowns, shoe covers, head covers, masks, eye protection, face shields, and goggles. There is a growing demand for it, but not an adequate supply of these kits - which is leading to a severe shortage. Healthcare workers are resorting to using bin liners & helmets as substitutes.
We are doing a campaign to raise funds for PPE kits for them. The funds raised will help healthcare workers at TATA MEMORIAL, NAIR HOSPITAL, GOKULDAS TEJPAL HOSPITAL, CAMA & ALBLESS HOSPITAL, DR. R N COOPER MUNICIPAL GENERAL HOSPITAL, ST. GEORGE'S HOSPITAL, HOLY FAMILY and LOKMANYA TILAK (SION) HOSPITAL. (Scroll down the story to see the appeal letters and requirements from these hospitals)

We are aware of the difficult situation our healthcare workers are going through and would like to do our bit in helping out. We have created a campaign on the Fueladream website and paired up with an NGO called Helping Hands, which is distributing PPE kits for healthcare workers in Mumbai. They are doing this across different hospitals in Mumbai that includes NAIR HOSPITAL, GOKULDAS TEJPAL HOSPITAL, CAMA & ALBLESS HOSPITAL, DR. R N COOPER MUNICIPAL GENERAL HOSPITAL, ST. GEORGE'S HOSPITAL, TATA MEMORIAL, LOKMANYA TILAK (SION) HOSPITAL.

For COVID-19 HELPING HANDS has been actively involved in a variety of activities - from food distribution, PPE kits to hospitals and taking care of cancer patients.
The Helping Hands Foundation is a non-profit organization, which mainly works with children who are diagnosed with cancer. We work on two projects – the Accommodation Project and the Survivor Project. The Accommodation Project provides free accommodation to the child and the family during treatment in Dharamshalas surrounding the hospital and the Survivor Project works towards regular testing and rehabilitation of children who beat cancer. The Helping Hands Foundation is a fundraising entity and works in conjunction with Tata Memorial Hospital’s ImPaCCT Foundation.
Our mission is to provide accommodation to every single child who comes to Mumbai for treatment thereby ensuring zero abandonment due to lack of accommodation.

Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly. It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
Other registered users can send their comments/ queries directly to the campaign owner as a message.
