India's lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19 has crossed 50 days. People have been staying indoors and businesses are shut and there seems to be no respite. This is a doomsday scenario for the poor and daily wage workers as it means they are now facing the prospect of no income. While the govt will provide some of them with relief packages we need to understand that the task is massive. Many are unregistered migrant labour and need our help to survive this crisis.
Recognizing this need, the Live to Inspire Charitable Trust through their “Sign of Humanity” drive began distributing packed cooked meals to the need, the meals are delivered directly to them. They are currently feeding 14,400 people a day in 5 states. The demand for food packets is overwhelming, and it is hard to turn people away when the food packs run out.
Funds from this campaign will be utilized in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.

ABOUT ME & THIS CAMPAIGN
I am VIDHI NITIN PUGLIA, 19 years old & pursuing Bachelor of Design from United world Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways. Perhaps the hardest hit is the migrant workers, the needy, and the daily wage labourers. Their lives have been turned upside down overnight and they are having a traumatic experience. Suddenly they are without any source of income, and even something as basic as food is a nightmare for them. So how will they survive?
This feeding program will ensure they survive and will give them comfort and hope. I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can feed them and possibly feed many more. The funds collected from this crowdfunding campaign would transform their lives and bring more than just a smile to them. Let's come together and do our bit.

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
