Akshaya Patra has been aiding the Government’s efforts by providing food relief to vulnerable communities, such as migrant labourers and homeless people. The Foundation is doing this through its network of kitchens and delivery vehicles, working closely with the Government of India, State Governments and other civic administrations across the country. But we still have a long way to go if we are to ensure that every vulnerable community gets the help they need to survive this crisis.
Funds from this campaign will be utilized across Maharashtra.
The meals are cooked in Akshaya Patra kitchens, and the last mile distribution is done by the local authorities- govt and civic body teams. The cost per meal is just INR 20. So if you fund INR 2000 you fund 100 meals. The meals are typically veg khichdi or veg pulao.

My name is Ankit Jain and I am working with an Investment Management firm.
The COVID Pandemic has affected all of us in some way or the other but the hardest hit is the laborers who are struggling today for the most important need which is food. We all can live without everything but food.
I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can also contribute to their well-being in our own small little way. This campaign aims to provide cooked meals to them across Maharashtra and is done by Akshaya Patra( through their kitchens) in close coordination with the local administration. ABOUT AKSHAYA PATRA
The Akshaya Patra Foundation is headquartered in Bengaluru. The organization strives to eliminate classroom hunger by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in government schools and government-aided schools. Alongside, Akshaya Patra also aims at countering malnutrition and supporting the right to education of socio-economically disadvantaged children.
Since 2000, Akshaya Patra has been concerting all its efforts towards providing fresh and nutritious meals to children on every single school day. And are continuously leveraging technology to multiply our reach. The state-of-the-art kitchens have become a subject of study and have attracted curious visitors from around the world.
Today, Akshaya Patra is the world’s largest (not-for-profit run) Mid-Day Meal Programme serving wholesome food every school day to over 1.8 million children from 19,039 schools across 12 states & 2 Union territories of India.

Will we get to know the details of who benefitted?
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to AKSHAYA PATRA. We will update you on the details of the beneficiaries as soon as possible. Once we get this information we shall upload a report on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries.
When do I get the receipts?
The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
