There are millions of people in this world who have pet dogs that are being pampered with love and are taken good care of on a daily basis. However, the stray dogs, on the other hand, don't receive this unconditional love that pet dogs normally get. There are many dogs who have been abandoned to the streets as their owners are not being able to provide them with the basic necessities during the ongoing lockdown period. This current worldwide crisis has also caused the life of stray dogs to become more difficult than it already is. It really breaks my heart to see dogs falling prey into the hands of starvation, illnesses, and other commonly faced hardships.
The initiative 'Stray Pawsitive', aims to raise funds in order to provide essential dog supplies (especially food) required daily, by various organisations in Mumbai which help shelter and care for stray dogs.
Funds raised will be used to buy dog food and will be given to the following NGOs, who will use it to feed animals across Mumbai:

- Welfare of Stray Dogs
- Care for Strays

ABOUT ME
My name is SANJJANAA MIRPUR. I am a student at the Ecole Mondiale World School.
I started feeding the stray dogs around me when the lockdown began, as I saw that they were running out of food resources. I gave them biscuits and kibble. Their plight made me want to help strays all over Mumbai. I will be purchasing food for organisations who are already doing the same thing I am doing, at a much larger scale. This way, I can do my bit to save them from starvation.
The lockdown has affected the world as a whole, including another sizeable population - stray animals. The strays have no means of feeding themselves as they were dependant on human activity for survival but since all offices, restaurants, roadside eateries (where they had easy accessibility to food) are closed, they are starving. Let's stand up and 'Stray Prawsitive'.
With your support, we can save these helpless animals and help them survive such unprecedented times.
