We are a group of Grade 11 students, that have decided to set a plan into motion, to help change the world through action at a micro level, and raise awareness to improve on one of the most prevalent Sustainable Development Goals which is "Zero Hunger", starting locally from the city of Gurgaon in Haryana, India.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic, several labourers and daily wage workers are out of jobs, struggling to make ends meet. We felt that it was imperative that we start taking initiative by supporting them in these unprecedented times.
Thousands of daily wage labourers are impacted because of COVID-19. While the government will provide some of them with relief packages we need to understand that the task is massive. Many are not registered, are migrant labour and need our help to survive this crisis.
Funds from this campaign will be utilized in Gurgaon.

ABOUT ME
My name is SEHAN MALHOTRA. I am 16 years old and a Grade 11 student at Pathways World School, Aravali, Gurgaon, Haryana.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways. Perhaps the hardest hit is the daily wage earners, migrant labour and the financially poor. Suddenly they are without any source of income, and they are not able to provide food or the basic hygiene facilities to their families. They fear starvation more than the virus itself. At this juncture, we, the more privileged sections of the society need to step up to support them in this difficult time. The lockdown being extended puts an additional burden on them.
I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can also contribute to their well-being in our own small little way. Let's come together and do our bit to help our fellow countrymen.

ABOUT PRAGATI
In 2002, a few like-minded women decided to do their bit for society. They brought with them heaps of practical wisdom, coupled with the belief that in India, the only way to change the face of education is to make it free of all barriers. Rapid urbanization had turned Gurgaon into a “Millennium City” with little or no facilities for the children of farmers, migrant labourers, construction workers and blue-collar employees. The founder members decided to step in and Pragati was born to fulfil the learning dreams of these underprivileged children.
Pragati NGO, who seeks to provide free primary education to underprivileged children across Gurgaon. Currently, they are working with over 450 children to provide them with their basic food needs with ration kits.

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
