WHAT IS MENTR ? (pronounced MENTOR)
All of us have some problems in life and to solve them, either we ask our friends and family for advice or we just search for the solution online. But the reality is that out of the hundred people who search online for their problems only one finds a solution. So we just keep searching for the problem online and hope to get some pots of wisdom.
There is another way to solving the problem and that is if we take advice from an expert. This also comes with its problems - we have to pay for the services as its not free, we have take an appointment and then we have to change our time schedule according to the appointment given to us . After all this the consultant is not responsible for anything. He or she just gets the money in advance & that’s how it is been working.
We ourselves faced many challenges when looking for a consultant as it is:
1] Costly.
2] Takes lots of your time and sometimes involves traveling too.
3] There is no end to end support provided, it is just a 1 or 2 sessions per month.
SOME OF THE CHALLENGES WITH CONSULTANCY
1] I am basically from a rural city, so I have to travel 250 kms to Bangalore, it's a 6 hour journey from our place to find a good consultant.
2] It is costly and also the solution given is not optimal. It was INR 5000 per session.
3] The consultant does not provide full support during my progress, as he has many clients.
4] I have to book an appointment in advance, and it was a minimum of 20 days waiting time before I get a session booked.
THE MENTR MODULES

DELIVERY METHOD
For the initial launch, MENTR will be available through a web-based portal. If we are able to raise more funds, we will use that for the development of Android & iOS apps for MENTR. This will overtime expand our reach.
WHY ARE WE CROWDFUNDING ON FUELADREAM?
We have invested initial seed money to bring the idea to the INITIAL users. But to reach a much wider audience, we require your support.

Hi, I am Sunil and I am the curator of MENTR. I worked as a Sales manager at K Sohanraj's Rasoi, for 5 years. I hold a degree in M.B.A. (Marketing) from People Education Society Institute of Technology, Bangalore. I am a Engineering graduate (B.E. in Mech Engineering) from the Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Davangere.
It is my passion to solve real life challenges people face, like with consulting and give them technology enabled solutions.

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly. It’s s concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an Idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on a FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries in addition to tax benefits.
What are the crowdfunding charges?
Fueladream charges 2% for the payment for the payment gateway and 7% as crowdfunding charges. With GST the total comes to 10.62%. There is also a INR 3000 initial processing fee.
