Akshaya Patra has been aiding the Government’s efforts by providing food relief to vulnerable communities, such as migrant labourers and homeless people. The Foundation is doing this through its network of kitchens and delivery vehicles, working closely with the Government of India, State Governments and other civic administrations across the country. But we still have a long way to go if we are to ensure that every vulnerable community gets the help they need to survive this crisis.
Funds from this campaign will be utilized across Telangana.
The meals are cooked in Akshaya Patra kitchens and the last mile distribution is done by the local authorities- govt and civic body teams. The cost per meal is just INR 25. So if you fund INR 2500 you fund 100 meals. The meals are typically rice and dalma ( dal and vegetables) or Veg khichdi. They also provide a bottle of water with each meal.

My name is Pranav. I am 16 years old and a Grade 11 student at Chirec International School.
We are in the midst of a pandemic. The entire world is facing unprecedented situations.The pandemic has affected everyone in some or the other way. In India, daily wage laborers, migrant laborers and the underprivileged are suffering the most. The pandemic has left them jobless thus having a detrimental impact on their financial situation. With no income they are finding it difficult to feed themselves, making them prone to starvation. Starvation has become more dangerous for these people than the virus itself.
As empathetic and responsible citizens of the country, it is our obligation to stand up and help them in these times of extreme hardships. From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely request all of you to support my campaign so that we could help our fellow citizens.This campaign provides meals to them across Hyderabad and many other cities. This noble activity is taken up by Akshaya Patra through their kitchens with close coordination with the local administration like the police. Each meal provided by this organization saves a life. Let us unite for this kind-hearted act and contribute to help our fellow citizens.

ABOUT AKSHAYA PATRA
The Akshaya Patra Foundation is headquartered in Bengaluru. The organization strives to eliminate classroom hunger by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in government schools and government-aided schools. Alongside, Akshaya Patra also aims at countering malnutrition and supporting the right to education of socio-economically disadvantaged children.
Since 2000, Akshaya Patra has been concerting all its efforts towards providing fresh and nutritious meals to children on every single school day. And are continuously leveraging technology to multiply our reach. The state-of-the-art kitchens have become a subject of study and have attracted curious visitors from around the world.
Today, Akshaya Patra is the world’s largest (not-for-profit run) Mid-Day Meal Programme serving wholesome food every school day to over 1.8 million children from 19,039 schools across 12 states & 2 Union territories of India.

Will we get to know the details of who benefitted?
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to AKSHAYA PATRA. We will update you on the details of the beneficiaries as soon as possible. Once we get this information we shall upload a report on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries.
When do I get the receipts?
The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
