RATION PACK DETAILS
ABOUT ME
My name is DILSHAD SUKHESWALA. I am 16 years old and in Grade 11 at Bombay Scottish School at Mahim, Mumbai.
The dabbawalas have been serving us & bringing food to so many Mumbaikars for many decades. They helped get food delivered to us & our families. Now is the time when we should come forward and get food delivered to them & their families.
We are going through a global crisis and it is at this time that everyone should stand with each other and do their bit to make it out of this situation. We are fortunate enough to be in a position where we can extend our support and help others. By providing them with basic essentials, we are giving them much-needed comfort and hope. This will help them overcome the trauma of facing the lockdown because of COVID-19.

OUR PARTNERS
ROTARY CLUB OF LOWER PAREL
Rotary Club of Lower Parel was established in May 2019 with a vision to improve the life of people in the surrounding areas of Lower Parel. The current COVID 19 situation led the club on a fast track path and gave birth to Project Prayas.
Project Prayas initially proposed to contribute monthly ration to the needy and the focus was Lower Parel and surrounding areas. However, the need is much bigger and we at RCMLP have decided to extend ourselves and take up the ration pack distribution for our hardworking Dabbawalas.
ANAND MANGAL AARADHNA KENDRA
Anand Mangal Aaradhna Kendra (AMAK) is a Trust formed in 2010 for the benefit of helping the poor with food and medical assistance. We have been helping needy and deserving students with financial assistance for their school & college fees.
We are working with Rotary Club of Lower Parel to help Mumbai Dabbawalas affected due to COVID-19.

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
