Thousands of daily wage labourers are impacted because of COVID-19. While the government will provide some of them with relief packages we need to understand that the task is massive. Many are not registered, are migrant labour and need our help to survive this crisis.
Funds from this campaign will be utilized in the Murshidabad region of West Bengal.

ABOUT ME
My name is MANAN GUPTA. I am 17 years old & studying in Grade 12 at Dubai College.
I am running this crowdfunding campaign to help the community that has been hit hardest by this global pandemic- THE DAILY-WAGE worker. We are all in it together while dealing with such unprecedented times. We must be grateful that we have a roof over our heads, food on the table and a comfortable safe place. This is not the case for these people who earn their bread daily and do not have any money for food.
I believe it is imperative that we help these people in any way we can. By providing them with basic essentials, we are giving them much-needed comfort and hope. This will help them overcome the trauma they are facing because of COVID-19.

ABOUT THE NGO
Karna Subarna Welfare Society is a voluntary organization or an NGO working for the upliftment of the most backward classes in the district of Murshidabad since its inception in the year 2006. It has enhanced its credibility in the eyes of local stakeholders through various out-of the-pocket and philanthropic activities for the betterment of the sexually marginalized community, backward communities like SC/ST/OBC & Muslim community across its area of intervention till date.
Through this campaign, we aim to provide ration packs to underprivileged families in Murshidabad region of Bengal.

Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as Karna-Subarna Welfare Society is a registered NGO & you can avail of benefits under section 80G of IT act. Foreign funding is accepted too.
