THE PROBLEM
While the lockdown norms may have eased, not everyone has a job to sustain their families. People who earn their livelihood as daily wage labourers, run small shops in their community, work as support staff in the offices or work as house helps, drivers, electricians etc. have had it worse. Several of our ‘didis and bhaiyas’, who have looked after our well being since the day we stepped into the school, hail from these communities. With the lack of employment for spouses and other family members owing to COVID-19, it has been particularly challenging for them.
THE SOLUTION
We, the students of Shiv Nadar School, Noida, as the responsible citizens of this nation, consider it our responsibility to work towards empowering the communities that make us who we are. It is with this belief that each one of us can be the change, we have set out to raise support for the neighbouring communities of Chhaprauli and Mangrouli (villages in sector 168, Noida).
THESE ARE SOME OF THE PEOPLE YOU WILL IMPACT
They will be given monetary as well as material support such as ration, masks and sanitisers of a minimum of INR 1500. Out of which 40% will be in kind and the rest as financial assistance. This is being done in partnership with The Kutumb Foundation.

ABOUT KUTUMB FOUNDATION
The Kutumb Foundation is dedicated to promoting the total development of the individual by way of building language skills, bridging developmental gaps, and addressing issues of identity; this process of exposure is accomplished through theatre and football, among other creative methods. Peer leadership and democratic decision making empower the young people of Kutumb to take charge of their own communities. The Kutumb Foundation envisions a world where the non-profit sector works together with other social sector organisations as well as the private corporate sector, in order to foster positive change.
TAX BENEFITS
Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as THE KUTUMB FOUNDATION is a registered NGO & you can avail of benefits under section 80G of IT act. Foreign funding is accepted.

To ensure that there is complete transparency I shall get a report from NGO telling me who benefitted from the funding. The details will then be posted on the UPDATES section of my campaign.
