THE PROBLEM
Our lifestyle has truly taken a different turn in the last few months due to the pandemic. While we wait for the world to heal, the livelihoods of many have been severely affected. The lives of our bus drivers and attendants at DPSBN has changed drastically.
The sudden and unprecedented lockdown has left them unemployed. They are unable to pay for their basic necessities such as water and electricity. Most of them stay in rented houses and are not able to pay their rent. 3 square meals a day has become difficult. Many come from large families and have elderly patients at home who require continuous medical care. The children of these drivers and attendants are forced to put their education on hold as they are unable to attend online classes.
THE SOLUTION
We, the students of DPS Bangalore North, as responsible citizens of this nation, consider it our responsibility to work towards empowering these communities that make us who we are. We are taking the initiative to help the attendants and bus drivers strive through this pandemic by supporting them with funds to protect their livelihoods and help their families.
Just INR 7000 will help cover their expenses for a month.
ABOUT ME
My name is UDAY NAYAR. I am 17 years old and in Grade XI at Delhi Public School Bangalore North.
The pandemic has affected our lives in many ways. But some lives have been far more adversely impacted than others due to increasing job insecurity and income fluctuations that come with being thus grounded during the lockdown.
A large number of drivers and attendants at DPSBN have been an integral part of the school for more than 5 years and have watched us grow up. They have been with us and are an important part of our school journey. Now it is our turn to help them and lend a helping hand during these pressing times.
Hence, I have decided to do this campaign to raise funds to protect their livelihoods and help their families. Just INR 7000 will help fund their expenses for a month.
Being able to impact the life of even one person or family alone would make a world of difference to them. Plus, I feel that taking part in this campaign is a good way to give back to the world by helping the less fortunate.
Please support this campaign and let us together help the bus drivers and attendants of DPSBN. Let us make the right to life and security a priority, rather than a privilege.

Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to ROTARY BANGALORE INDIRANAGAR. We will update you on the details of the beneficiaries as soon as possible. Once we get this information we shall upload a report on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries.
When do I get the receipts?
The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
