Education and health can give a child confidence, empowerment and make one build their own destiny to achieve the dreams of their lives.  

Education and medical care remain a distant dream for many children from low-income homes in India. Actor R.Parthepan's NGO by the name MANIDHA NEYA MANDRAM is committed to providing education and medical care for children from the underprivileged segments of society. 

This crowdfunding initiative is to help raise funds to help provide education and medical care to these children.T his is being done through a request for you to PRE-ORDER a lovely 2021 calendar that has been created for you. You can also PRE-ORDER his book called Kirrukalgal (SCRIBBLES). Read the story below and make a difference as all the funds raised go for the education of children from poor homes.

One of the notable efforts from R. Parthepan Manidha Neya Mandram is the formation of NADAIPATHAI POOKAL which helps the underprivileged kids to the light of education. The trust takes care of nearly 25 students education and many fellow cinema industry senior artists like Actor Vivek, Actress Suhasini Maniratnam, actor Arya have joined hands in achieving the objective effectively.

KIRUKKALGAL BY PARTHIBAN

Like a commercial masala movie, the book has got all elements in it like family sentiments, love, action, comedy, glamour, social message etc. It is very simple, straightly reaches the mind and soul with the usage of simple words. The genre is very serious and witty at the same time while conveying some strong message through his poems which makes the book entertaining to read through. The major focus of the book is on:

Social Issues

Women’s freedom, society and politics in general, poverty, terrorism, national integrity etc are highlighted. A long poem “Anbudan” is a noteworthy one which is a bit philosophical but has encouraging words for youngsters who are struggling to succeed in life. A poem on a lady beggar begging with her kids is excellent and strikes with the embarrassing reality. “Manushi” is an innovative recursive poem about a normal woman. Selected few lines of dialogues from movies “Pudhiya Padhai” and “House Full” are really thought-provoking. The short poem “Madhya Pradesam” is an excellent take on poverty, famine and unity. “Ooi” is a very innovative long poem among the lot written with only one word in each line about humanity.

Love

As like any Indian movie, love occupies the major portion of the book. A lot of interesting hyku’s on love is there. But a long poem about his first love and his practical approach to it is really intense and rise deep emotions in us by the way he has penned it. Also, a poem called “Maiyal” about love and its true meaning has a unique thought and a repeated reading value.

ABOUT R. PARTHIBAN

Parthiban is an Indian film actor, director, producer and writer who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. He has directed 15 films, produced 14 films and acted in more than 60 films. He started his career as assistant director for K.Bhagyaraj in 1984 and the duo worked in over 20 films from 1984 to 1991. Parthiban is known for having directed critically acclaimed films such as Pudhiya Paadhai and Housefull  won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil. On 25 December 2018, he was appointed as the new Vice President of the Tamil Film Producers Council replacing Gautham Menon and Prakash Raj who were jointly holding the position until 24 December 2018. 

Parthiban apart from his efforts in making cinema he has been active in social reforms and charity. He has actively taken part in raising funds for the needy, organising blood camps, volunteered in donation during Chennai floods, actively protested against PETA for Jallikattu, and even recently for the COVID-19. He follows the motto of 'Ubuntu' which means 'I AM BECAUSE WE ARE'. He believes in giving an upper hand to the people and making a difference in their lives that will help everyone grow despite the unfair privileged.

ABOUT R.PARTHEBAN MANIDHA NEYA MANDRAM

The NGO was founded by R. Parthiban. Manithaneya Mandram was awarded by the esteemed The Madras Voluntary Blood Bank for the services and help rendered. They also organised campaigns for the polio vaccination until it was deemed to be eradicated. Manithaneya Mandram is not just restricted to Tamil Nadu, it has helped people during the Gujarat earthquake. The organisation runs an ambulance service, a library and many other public commodity services to help the people in need. They understand the people basic needs and reach out as much as possible. They have organised camps against dowry, child marriage and discontinuing of women education. R.Parthiban runs Nadaipathai Pookal specially for the unprivileged children. He envisioned his organisation to dynamic where self-motivated and like-minded people come together for the betterment of the society. It is a place where young and energetic minds get an opportunity to achieve their noble ideas. Actors like Vivekh, Prasanna, Bagyaraj, Rohini, Arya, Neelima Rani etc. have collaborated with R.Parthiban in this initiative in various events helping in the awareness programme.
