THE PROBLEM
We all know how COVID-19 has created a huge digital divide. It was prominent especially when it came to kids’ education. Some of us are fortunate to be able to get educated via online classes while more than 90% of the kids do not have smartphones or internet facility and has brought their education to a halt. With the ongoing variants of virus and unpredictable future, it is important to keep the young brains active while we fight through this pandemic. It is crucial to keep them feel like they are not left out.
THE SOLUTION
This initiative is to help kids in rural villages utilize their idle time to get creative, keep their brains to work and be little scientists. After researching several options and working with various vendors, I have finalized on the kits listed below. Several of these kits are academically mapped to their school curriculum, so it helps them understand concepts faster once they are back at school. These experiments or tasks can be done by kids independently which is very crucial considering the limited help they have. These kits keep them engaged and helps them gain confidence during the process. Most of these kits can be reused and so they can share and exchange with others in their community.
Just INR 250 will help one child.
(The working is as follows: A total of 500 kits will need to be procured. Each kit will be shared by 2 students and hence, 1000 students will get impacted. The total cost is approx INR 2.5L which works out to INR 250 per student)

ABOUT ME
My name is Ashug. I am 16 years old and in Grade 11 at Oakridge International School.
During this pandemic, we have realized how flawed our education system is, just because people don't have enough money doesn't mean that their kids shouldn't get good education. Most of their parents are daily wage earners meaning they live by the day. Their first concern is to put food on the table.
So while we are sitting in our safe homes and living a life full of luxuries, we need to help them. These kits will help utilize their idle time to get creative, keep their brains to work and be little scientists. Most of these kits are academic oriented and hence will help them when they get back to school.
Please support this campaign and let us together help the children from underprivileged homes.

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
