THE BACKGROUND
Chinmaya Mission was established in India in 1953 by devotees of the world-renowned Vedanta teacher, His Holiness Swami Chinmayananda. Guided by his vision, a wide range of educational, and charitable activities are carried out, ennobling the lives of thousands in India.
This campaign of mine aims to support the following activities which will impact many across Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon and Haridwar.
- Providing ration kits to single mothers/widows from low-income homes
Thousands of low-income families have been impacted because of the pandemic. The plight is especially dire for single mothers and widows. To help them get by RATION PACKS are being given to them for their families on a monthly basis. They will also be taught a vocational skill that will help be financially independent.
- Educating Children from underserved communities
Children from low-income homes are often the first-generation school-goers in their family and work part-time to supplement their family income. By funding their education, their after-school tuition and also their meals, we can help these children get educated. This will help them come out of the vicious cycle of poverty which usually impacts such families as they grow up to get much better jobs.
By improving the existing infrastructure of educational institutes like the Chinmaya Degree College at Haridwar, students will have a better environment to learn and imbibe knowledge. There is a massive need for funds to also support other Infrastructure initiatives at other Chinmaya mission centres at Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida too.
The total funds required for all the above programs is INR 2 Crores. Other members and I have come together to collectively do this initiative to raise the 2 CR amount. This campaign will impact many and is called the HAPPINESS UNLIMITED initiative. Be a part of this wonderful initiative and let's transform many lives together.

FEEDBACK
To ensure that there is complete transparency I shall get a report from the NGO (this takes between 2 to 4 months usually after the funds are raised & transferred to them) telling me how the funds are being used and who has benefitted from the funding. The details will then be posted on the UPDATES section of my campaign. As soon as the NGO posts an update, the platform will send an EMAIL alert to all the funders - i.e. to you. That's transparent right.

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
