Adil Mohammad Nazir Ansari is a Para Archer from Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. He has been selected in the Indian camp to get them prepared for the ensuing World Qualification Tournament (WQT) in the Czech Republic from 4th to 11th July 2021 for Olympic quota for India. He is the only person from Maharashtra. It's a big opportunity and he could be a medal winner. This campaign is being done by my schoolmates and I to help give him the new equipment and kit he needs to compete (as the existing one is very old).
THE BACKGROUND
Adil was an active sportsman in school and then encountered a tragedy which immobilised him for life. He was on a hill on a hike and dived into a small pool of water to swim and hit the rocks as it was shallow, rendering him paraplegic. But this disability has not stopped him from conquering and achieving a lot. He is now training in Sonepat to participate in the World Qualification Tournament (WQT) in the Czech Republic for archery. The equipment he currently uses has been damaged due to wear and tear (image below).

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
