TOGETHER LET'S REIMAGINE EDUCATION.
THE CONTEXT:
Chinmaya Mission was established in India in 1953 by devotees of His Holiness Swami Chinmayananda – a world-renowned teacher of Vedanta. Guided by His vision, Chinmaya Mission has made remarkable contributions in the field of education, seeing over one million students benefiting through their various schools and colleges.
My campaign – One Knowledge, One World – is focused on three pillars of the Chinmaya Education Movement which will transform the lives of students and create a more united and harmonious world.
REVOLUTIONISING EDUCATION BY BUILDING A STATE-OF-THE-ART CAMPUS – CHINMAYA UNIVERSITY.
Chinmaya University’s mission is to blend the time-tested wisdom of India with contemporary knowledge. This unparalleled institution offers an array of courses to ensure graduates will not only become leaders of extraordinary achievement but will hold the key to creating a brighter future for us all. Support this brand-new initiative by contributing to building a new state-of-the-art campus over 40 acres of land in Kerala. Your support will enable us to reach more deserving students.
PROVIDING LIFE-CHANGING OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN AT CHINMAYA SCHOOLS.
Often children from low-income homes are the first to ever go to school in their family and also need to work part-time to supplement their family income. Funding their education, books and uniforms provide them with the freedom to learn, develop and gain employment – forever reversing the vicious cycle of poverty.
BUILDING & REVAMPING INFRASTRUCTURE.
Improving the existing infrastructure at Chinmaya Schools across India will ensure students have a conducive environment to learn and imbibe knowledge.
The total funds required for the One Knowledge One World campaign is INR 125 (1250 Mn) crores.
Brick by brick, let us work together to make these life-changing education initiatives a reality. Do donate generously and help create an impact for generations to come. All funding has 80G Tax benefits.
1. BUILDING THE CVV CAMPUS: INR 105 CR (1050 Mn) NEEDED.
One of the biggest questions we face today is how to build a better world. Confronting the challenges of our time requires dynamic leaders powerful enough to disrupt the status quo. This can only be achieved through brilliant and mind-expanding education.
CVV aims to create by:
- Fusing Indian wisdom and Western cutting-edge university pedagogy to create dynamic and innovative thought. For example, a BA in Applied Psychology student also studies courses that explore the mind through the lens of Yoga – a 5000-year-old practice!
- Broadening students’ spirits through meditation, dance, different literature and more so they can explore themselves, face life’s challenges and find their true calling.
Offering a rich multi-perspective and interdisciplinary approach with ethics at the heart of the learning. By exploring lanes of knowledge unimagined before students will have a transformational impact on the world.
Contribute towards building the new campus which will be completed by the end of 2022.
Watch the below video that outlines what CVV is all about.

OUR WALL OF GRATITUDE
We will forever recognise your generosity on the wall of gratitude, located at the Chinmaya University campus. Your legacy will be marked for generations to see.
2. EDUCATING 400 KIDS: 1 CRORE NEEDED.
There are 88 Chinmaya Schools in many small towns across India. Providing education scholarship for underprivileged students changes the trajectory of their lives and opens the ways to various educational and employment opportunities they had never dreamed of.
This needs INR 1 Crore (10 mn) so together we can transform the lives of over 400 students just like Adwaith.
The Chinmaya Educational Institutions have transformed the minds of over a million students in the past 50 years.
3. REVAMP SCHOOL INFRA: 9 CRORES NEEDED.
There are 15 Chinmaya schools that need the following infrastructural improvements to enhance the school environment and create further impact:
· Better classroom essentials like tables, benches, blackboards
· New school buildings including floors/ toilets.
· New science and computer labs.
The total funding needs amount to INR 9 CR (90 Mn).

ABOUT ME AND MY CAMPAIGN:
My name is Udbhav Manomay Gadey and I am a student in CVV.
I have undertaken this campaign because I believe that the right education is the foundation for life’s journey. I was fascinated by the 3 pronged approach of this campaign and the impact it will make. This is truly about REIMAGINING EDUCATION.
1)The uniqueness of the Chinmaya University (CVV) – a global university that will transform the lives of future generations of students. This will impact and change the future.
2) In the immediate present being able to impact the lives of underprivileged students from Chinmaya Vidyalaya’s across India by supporting their education is a very high-impact initiative. The parents of these students are typically daily wage workers and many of them are illiterate and do not realise how critical education is.
3) Again in the present the Chinmaya schools need better infrastructure. The lack of it definitely impacts the quality of education and the school environment & this is a critical need.
Brick by brick, let us come together and make sure that this ‘One Knowledge – One World’ initiative is realised within our lifetimes.

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
