ELITE is an everyday Laptop (15") bag which becomes a travel bag on-demand. It opens up completely so that you can pack like never before. It also transforms from a backpack to a sling mode based on your style.

The main shoulder strap can be fixed in 2 ways so that the bag transforms from a backpack to a sling mode.

We are both Industrial designers with a Mechanical Engineering background and most importantly, best friends with the same passion. After graduating from NID Ahmedabad and Srishti Bangalore, working in Germany and Holland for a while we decided to come back and start our own design consultancy. We have been fortunate to be design partners for products ranging from medical devices and furniture to consumer electronics and sports equipment.
We love redesigning things around us and a bag is something we used a lot but were not very happy with. So we decided to create one which we love and hence came 'Smthn Snug'. That was a very successful product and a big success. The URBAN & ELITE are our next two designs under the "smthn" brand.
The biggest risk for us is the funds we already spent on creating this campaign.
After the campaign is over, our main challenge will be to make sure that we meet Shipping timelines. We have contracted with a very reputed manufacturing house and do not expect significant delays. If there are delays they would usually be because of the delayed arrival of raw material. We only request your patience and support should there be small delays.
Another risk is the sudden change in govt. policies or a bandhs/strike which create delays in processing orders. This, of course, is a very rare occurrence. We have done test runs for months and will do our best to ensure that we stick to the committed timelines.
Q: When will the bags be delivered? How do we track them ?
A: Shipping begins 30 days after the campaign ends. Please refer the REWARDS section for more clarity. We will track the bags for you. We do not have an automatic tracking system for you to check.
Q: Are the bags waterproof?
A: ELITE is made of water-resistant polyester.
Q: Warranty?
A: Both the bags have a manufacturing warranty on stitching for a period of 6 months.
Q: CASH-ON-DELIVERY?
A: We currently cannot support COD because this is a crowdfunding campaign and we need the funds to make the bags.
Q: What is the return/replacement policy?
A: There is 'No Return' policy. There is, however, a 'Replacement' policy in the case of damaged product received. We must be notified within 24 hours of receiving the product(s) along with supporting images. We shall review the same and get back to you with a solution. Q: What is the guarantee that i will get the product after I pre-order it?
A: This is our second crowdfunding campaign. We have already shipped about 1000 bags to backers in our previous campaign. We do not gain by losing your trust in such a large public domain.
Q: Will I know my shipment tracking details?
A: All shipments will be carried out via India Post. We will share a Google Drive link with the shipment/tracking details as and when they are shipped out.
