My name is Ashwani Kumar and I am working with United Health group as a software engineer in New Delhi. I am the sole breadwinner of my family. My wife Varsha Singh is a homemaker. My 6-month old daughter Jeevisha Raj is in a critical condition and is in dire need of a Liver transplant operation to survive. She is suffering from a medical condition called "Congenital Biliary Atracia".

We are trying hard through all means to raise the operation cost, which in toto works out to 20.5 lakhs. We have managed 15 lacs somehow including all our savings. Now we are struggling to raise 5.5 lacs. We have now exhausted all our resources and now are appealing to all of our friends, well-wishers and those of you who understand what it means for parents to see their only child suffer like this. We are in critical need of funds required for the liver transplant operation and post medical care. That estimate is approx 14L plus the postoperative cost of INR 3.6L. Including the preliminary expenses, the total cost is INR 20.5L.
She is currently admitted and in the ICU at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences at Vasant Kunj in New Delhi. This is where the transplant surgery will be performed( details below) by the surgeon Dr. Viniyendra Pammecha. Dr. Rajeev Khanna is the pediatric physician, he is taking care of her infection and overall health.
