THE BACKDROP
Millions of stray dogs and cats live on the streets of India. With the recent increase in popularity among Indians of full breed pets, more and more dogs and cats are abandoned and left without food. During this pandemic with many people staying indoors, these strays have been impacted especially those near the markets and corporate setups. They are starving and their food sources are diminishing.
THE SOLUTION
Samarpan Foundation is committed to feeding these animals. Since April 2020, they have spent about Rs 20 Lakhs on feeding 14,000 cats and dogs. It costs just INR 40 to provide one meal (incl. dry and wet food along with chicken, firewood and water tanker). The food served includes fresh chicken, Dry and Wet Cat and Dog Food, and water bowls. Special food is provided for newborn orphan kittens who cannot digest cow's milk and also special diet is provided for sick dogs (with renal, neurological, and other issues).
Just INR 4000 will help feed 100 strays.
Just INR 6000 will help feed 150 strays.
Just INR 8000 will help feed 200 strays.
Funds from this campaign will be utilized across Mumbai, Goa, Bengaluru and Kashmir. This campaign is being done in partnership with the NGO - Samarpan Foundation.
All funding has 80G benefits.

ABOUT ME
My name is Jeny Leon Lopez. I am a concerned citizen.
I am running a crowdfunding campaign along with my friends to help raise funds to provide food to stray animals. I am an animal lover and I love dogs and cats so much, it pains to see them on the streets. These animals have very few means of getting food on their own, especially those present in the markets and near corporate setups. The strays have no means of feeding themselves since the offices, restaurants, roadside eateries, where they had easy accessibility to food, are closed. They are starving and their food sources are diminishing.
Through this campaign, I want to help provide one meal a day to these strays and help them survive COVID-19.

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
