The floods have caused untold misery, destruction, and devastation. Thousands of families living in Chennai need our help to rebuild their lives and recover from this unfortunate wrath of nature.
We at NDSO aim to address food requests on an emergency basis. Each food packet costs INR 25. We are targeting to distribute 10,000 + food packets in the next few days. Our team has already started distribution and we need your help to reach out to more. In case, our target for the food packets are achieved we will use the funds to distribute rations and relief materials to the affected families.
NDSO started as Ennangalin Sangamam in the year 2005 in Chennai. It was a forum to identify, unite and facilitate networking among service-minded individuals and organizations distributed across Tamil Nadu.
NDSO would like to endeavour on the overall development of the fraternal members for their progress through moral assistance and fiscal support in the execution of their activities Through travels spanning hundreds of villages over the last 13 years, the team has been able to build a network of 1,500+ NGOs and has obtained the goodwill of thousands of individuals. Several of the individuals that the team met were doing quiet work away from the corrosive glare of the news media. The NGO steps up during calamities such as floods, cyclones etc to help those who are suffering and have been severely affected. Rescue operations and food packet distribution is undertaken.
Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as NDSO is a registered NGO and you can avail of benefits under section 80G of the IT act. Foreign funding is not accepted.
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to NDSO. A report with the details of how the funds are utilised shall be uploaded on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert and can read details.
The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
