THE BWF CHAMPIONSHIP
The TotalEnergies BWF World Championships 2021 is a Badminton tournament which is scheduled be held between 12th to 19th December 2021 at Palacio de los Deportes Carolina Marín in Huelva, Spain.
The BWF World Championship is a Badminton tournament sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). This tournament offers the most ranking points along with the Summer Olympics badminton tournaments. The winners will be crowned as the "World Champions" and awarded gold medals. Starting from the year 2006, the tournament has turned into an annual event on the BWF calendar with a goal of giving chances to more players to be crowned as official "World Champions".
THE INITIATIVE
(KARISHMA WADKAR AND UTKARSH ARORA IN ACTION.)
Through this crowdfunding campaign, we aim to support the two very talented young Badminton players who have been selected to represent India at the BWF World Championship 2021 - KARISHMA WADKAR and UTKARSH ARORA. They have been training at the Suchitra Badminton Academy, Hyderabad and have won laurels in many tournaments. Karishma and Utkarsh are extremely motivated and have been working very hard for this tournament. It has been their dream to participate and make India proud at the BWF World Championship 2021.
The cost for the two of them (they play mixed-doubles) is approx 4L but unfortunately they are unable to get the funds from the government even though they are officially going there as participants through the Sport body for badminton. Since they are unable to find sponsors due to the Covid situation, it is very difficult for their families to bear the expenses of participating in the tournament.
INR 4L WILL HELP MAKE THE DREAMS OF THESE YOUNG PLAYERS COME TRUE.
