THE PROBLEM
A child’s emotional, social, and physical development can be stunted by inappropriate contact. Because of this, it’s vital to teach your children about good touch vs bad touch. Children need to know that they can talk to you if someone touches them in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable.
Teaching your kids about good touch vs bad touch is vital for two reasons: It helps children better understand how to protect themselves from abuse and it encourages open communication between parents and their children.
THE SOLUTION
Picture shows the difference between the kinds of touch with examples as mentioned in the book.
Soham Agarwal of Oakridge International School, Hyderabad has come up with a book which emphasises the difference between good touch vs bad touch. He believes that kids are constantly growing and might not know when they've been taken advantage of. Educating them about what’s right and wrong can save them from undergoing the torment of sexual abuse. The knowledge can help them evade situations that make them feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
It’s almost impossible for parents to keep their children under constant monitoring to be sure that they’re safe. While they’re at school, at a friend’s house, or with a relative, the knowledge of good touch and bad touch can help them in various ways. This book will help young underprivileged children staying in Hyderabad understand the difference between the two and also help them vocalise their feelings towards wrongdoers.

It costs just INR 25.5 to print one copy of the book. This will benefit one underprivileged child and help spread awareness.

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept and is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations and ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding.
