We want to give you something newer, better, and more hi-tech than gears. So, we’ve replaced mechanical gears with Pedal Boost Sensors! The Pedal Boost feature on LightSpeed Electric Bicycles lets you decide how much effort you apply each time you pedal. You can keep switching between levels and work up your metabolism, or fix a level and cruise at an even speed. Pedal Boost pretty much lets you monitor exactly how much effort you physically put into each ride.
- LightSpeed Mobility guarantees each new LightSpeed electric bicycle frame and electric parts against defects in workmanship and materials.
- The bicycle frame and electric motor are guaranteed for 2 years while the other electric components and accessories are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase.
- This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement or repair of the defective frame, or defective parts and is the sole remedy of the warranty.
- The warranty applies only to original owners and is non-transferrable.
- Claims under this warranty must be made directly to LightSpeed Mobility Pvt Ltd.
- Proof of purchase is mandatory.
- The warranty does not cover product failure due to regular wear and tear, and customer induced failure, customer modifications, damage or failure due to an accident, misuse or abuse, or neglect will not be compensated for.
- Replacement or repair of parts under warranty will be provided at no additional charges except for the cost of shipping it to LightSpeed Mobility, which will be borne by the customer.

In the manufacture of LightSpeed eBikes, we strive for perfection and are confident of the quality we promise and provide. However, in matters of delivery, we understand that there may be situations beyond our control such as, but not restricted to—strikes/bandhs, acts of nature (floods/severe weather), shipping delays, government policies etc. While we do promise our best in avoiding any such lapses, we ask you to be patient with us in the event that we find ourselves face to face with such a challenge, and request you to have confidence in our endeavour to provide the customer experience we aim for, that we may resolve any hardships faced by all stakeholders involved.

Q. What happens if I need replacements for specific parts? Where can I find the spare parts?
A. Most spare parts of the eBike frame can be found in everyday cycle repair facilities and showrooms. The electric components are covered under warranty and can be replaced as required.
Q. What about routine repairs and minor problems? How do we deal with them? What about routine servicing?
A. In most cases, the repair and service work can be done at any bicycle-repair shop. Electronic troubles will be taken care of by LightSpeed Mobility, under warranty.
Q. What does the warranty cover?
A. The one year warranty entails a replacement on the electronic components. For the mechanical components of the eBike and bike frames the warranty ensures replacement against manufacturing defects or malfunctioning.
Q. Do the eBikes have regenerative braking?
A. While regenerative braking has its uses in larger and more heavyweight vehicles, we have found that it does not provide the value for money in a vehicle as lightweight as the LightSpeed eBikes, for the amount of energy recovered is negligible. Therefore, we have chosen not to implement regenerative braking in our eBikes.
Q. How long does the battery take to charge? How long does it last on a single charge?
A. A full charge of the battery takes approximately 3-3.5 hours. On a single charge, the DRYFT eBike can be driven for 50 kms, while GLYD can be driven for 35 kms.
Q. What happens if the battery runs out of power?
A. In the unfortunate situation that your battery is completely drained of power, the eBike can be used as a regular bicycle with manual power provided by pedalling.
Q. What is the maximum amount of weight that one can put on the eBike frame?
A. The maximum amount of weight that the frame can sustain is 120kg.
Q. What is the lifecycle of the battery?
A. The battery can last for a period of 4-5 years.
Q. How many charge cycles can the battery sustain? What happens at the end of the battery life cycle?
A. The battery should function optimally for 1000-1200 charge cycles. Once the battery runs out you can purchase a new battery pack from LightSpeed Mobility Pvt Ltd.
Q. How do I receive the eBike once I make a purchase?
A. Once you purchase the eBike, it will be delivered to your doorstep in a ready-to-ride condition.
Q. What are the legal requirements for using the eBike?
A. The eBike does not fall in the same category as other motor vehicles. So, no vehicle registration, driver’s license or mandatory insurance is required.
