The cyclone has caused untold misery, destruction and devastation. Thousands of people living in Tamil Nadu's twelve Cauvery delta districts have been impacted. It has killed 63 people and left hundreds homeless. You can fund this campaign using a credit card, debit card, net banking or by Paytm. Funding has 80G tax benefits and foreign funding is accepted too.
A NEW HOME FOR A NEW LEASE OF LIFE
Child Voice is a NGO that is helping with relief and rehabilitation to many of those impacted by the cyclone. There are 3 hamlets located at Kadal Kodai, Maliakkadu and Perunkadu where new homes need to be built. Child Voice would like to build 10 houses in the first phase. Our target is to finally build 34 houses. The cost to build one house would be INR 3.6L. The total area of the house would be 300 square feet & the cost per sq ft is 1200 INR. The costs are higher than normal as these tribals live in remote areas and the cost of transporting raw material is very very high to these places. The total amount we aim to raise is INR 36L.

FAQs
How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an Idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such a pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
What are the crowdfunding charges?
As it is a campaign for those impacted by a natural disaster Fueladream will only charge 3% of the total amount raised as fees. Payment gateway charges and GST would be extra.
