THE BACKGROUND:
Livelihood opportunities for underprivileged women serve as a crucial lifeline, fostering financial stability and self-reliance. This empowerment not only uplifts the women themselves but also breaks the cycle of poverty for their families. It enables these women to shape a brighter future for both themselves and their loved ones.
In several districts of Tamil Nadu, numerous women confront a challenging future with minimal support. The struggle for survival is already formidable, and for those who are single parents without assistance, the situation becomes even more daunting.
Empowering women equips them with the capability to attain secure, paid employment, ultimately diminishing poverty rates and alleviating food insecurity. Consequently, this enhances their families' stability, nutrition, and overall well-being.
SOLUTION: EMPOWERING WOMEN THROUGH ELECTRIC AUTOS.
Owning and operating an e-auto empowers women on multiple fronts. It offers a source of income and financial independence and promotes eco-friendly transportation, granting enhanced mobility. Beyond personal benefits, it enables women to impact their communities positively, provides better educational opportunities for their children, improves health and safety, and positions them as potential role models for other women seeking economic empowerment.
Me and other Rotarians/Concerned citizens are coming together to raise INR 2.5 Crores in total. Each of us has our campaign. This will help us give Electric Autos to 100 women from low-income homes as each E-Auto costs just INR 2.5L. Let's all come together to make a big impact.

THE EARLIER DISTRIBUTION OF E-AUTO HELD AT PUDUKOTTAI:
Under the leadership of Rtn. R. Anandtha Jothi, the District Governor of RID 3000, The Rotary Club of District 3000, has actively engaged in initiatives supporting women and youth in Dindigul district. On October 21, 2023.
The Rotary Club of District 3000 distributed ten E-Autos to empower ten underprivileged women.
Ms. Meena, the beneficiary, received the key to the electric auto from Rotarian Anantha Jothi, the District Governor of Rotary 3000, in Dindigul.

Ms. Meena was recently given an Electric Auto and she has become a beacon of positive change by not only mastering driving the Auto but also by generously extending her knowledge of driving to train two more women, thereby significantly enhancing their livelihoods.
The beneficiaries will thus create a ripple effect in their communities.

ABOUT ME:
My name is Krupa Dyanesh. I am a concerned citizen. I am doing this campaign to help women and give them a livelihood by giving them Electric Autos as a livelihood initiative. The beneficiaries are women from 7 districts across Tamil Nadu. This will give them a sustainable livelihood by providing them substantial income. This will completely transform their lives and also impact their families.
The fact that it costs just INR 2,50,000 for an E-Auto to impact a woman and future generations is amazing. Through this campaign, I aim to transform the lives of many women and their families. This will make them financially independent and impact their families for generations to come.
