THE BACKGROUND:
Hello, I am Grihitha Sachin Vichare, a nine-year-old girl from Thane, Mumbai, currently a Grade 4 student at Saraswati Vidyalaya, Ghod Bunder Road. I want to share with you all the incredible adventures I've been on!
Ever since my very first family trek, I've been determined to conquer some of the world's toughest challenges. At the age of just eight, I reached the Everest Base Camp in Nepal, which is the highest, hardest, and toughest trek in the world! It was an unforgettable experience.
Balancing studies with my newfound passion wasn't easy, but it was worth it. Trekking evolved from a hobby to a way of life, intertwined with singing, drawing, dancing, and playing.
But that was just the beginning! On August 15, 2023, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in South Africa, standing proudly at 5895 meters. Not only did I summit, but I also hoisted the Indian Tricolour on Indian Independence Day, marking a moment of immense pride for me and my country. And guess what? I set a new record for being the fastest child to summit Mount Kilimanjaro! It's even recognized in the India Book of Records.
Then, on January 26, 2024, I made history again by summiting Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia, which stands at 4095 meters. I became the youngest Indian to accomplish this feat, and I couldn't be happier!
I'm proud to say that I'm the second youngest female child from Maharashtra and the third youngest from India to reach the Everest Base Camp. These achievements show that age is never a barrier to success!
I'm grateful for the support of my family, friends, and everyone who believed in me. I hope my journey inspires other children to dream big and never give up on their goals.

ABOUT MY FAMILY:
My family, consisting of my father Sachin Vichare, my mother Sneha Sachin Vichare, my elder sister Harita Sachin Vichare, and myself, share a profound love for trekking. Together, we embark on exhilarating expeditions, conquering smaller forts and hills such as Gopalgad, Dabbhol, Sondai, Panhalla, Agoda, Chapora, Karnala Dindeshwar Hill, and Ghod Bunder. These adventures are our special way of bonding, amidst nature's beauty and challenges.
I have been trekking to forts, hills & jungles for the last 2+ years now. She has completed more than 75+ treks which consist of Normal treks, High climb treks, Jungle treks & Technical climbs.
These experiences have only fueled my determination to reach even greater heights and proudly represent India on the international stage.

This covers all the costs for me and my father as a guardian. Even after my parent's support, I will be short by INR 21 L.
