Despite their modest income, supporting Shivamshika's chess training and competition journeys seemed like an impossible task. Alongside her chess pursuits, she finds joy in solving puzzles and listening to music.

THE INITIATIVE:
Driven by the desire to impact a fellow chess player's life positively, I took the initiative to support Shivamshika's promising chess journey. Currently, she is undergoing training at the Maestro Chess Academy in Hyderabad. Shivamshika faces financial hurdles that hinder her pursuit of passion.
Through this campaign, I am planning to support Shivamshika in participating in the prestigious "FIDE World Junior (Open & Girls) Chess Championships 2024," organized by the Gujarat State Chess Association in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Championship date: 1st -14th June 2024.
Recognizing her challenges, the initiative seeks to create a pathway for Shivamshika to pursue her passion without the weight of financial constraints. It endeavors to provide her with the necessary resources to hone her skills, ensuring a level playing field where her talent can flourish unhindered.

I am Mythri Maddisetty. I am 16- years old and a Grade 11 student at Chirec Intl School (IB) Hyderabad. I am doing this campaign to support Shivamshika's dream of becoming a chess champion. As a fellow chess player, I intimately understand the trials that come with financial constraints in the pursuit of a passion.
Chess isn't just a game; it's a journey that demands dedication and skill. Having walked the chessboard myself, I recognize the hurdles Shivamshika faces—the financial strain on training fees, accommodation, and travel to tournaments. Through this campaign, I aim to create a checkmate against these challenges, ensuring that her journey is defined by triumphs rather than constraints.
My eagerness to make a real impact motivated me to start this campaign. Seeing Shivamshika's efforts on the chessboard sparked a wish in me to support her dreams. Typically, players receive funding after reaching the national level, not before. This is precisely why I am conducting this campaign—to offer financial support to help them before the tournaments commence. Shivamshika is now planning to participate in the FIDE World Junior (Open & Girls) Chess Championships 2024 in Gujarat and she needs financial help to participate in the tournament.
In the future, I wish to support more young talents like Shivamshika in pursuing their passion.
