Necessity is the mother of invention and The Inside Story is a classic case. Satin shorts are a rare breed in the Indian loungewear industry and women-centric designs are even more so. Hence, our three musketeers – two experienced musketeers and one in the making – decided to slay this dragon.
We, Nadeem Ahmed and Ayushi Garg, have been running a wedding planning company called Kisses By Candlelight for the last seven years. Aditya Garg is a 19-year-old entrepreneur in the making. Each of us brings to the table a wide array of capabilities and qualities to make the perfect blend that is The Inside Story.
Many moons ago, we discovered the comfort that was SATIN shorts ! A few moons later, we outgrew them. But despite our microscopic search of the world wide web, we couldn’t find a replacement pair. So we decided to make our own and The Inside Story was born.
Once you pre-order your shorts, we will get in touch with you. You can then tell us your SIZE and DESIGN /PATTERN for the shorts. You can mix and match sizes and designs! So for example if you ordered a pack of THREE & want TWO of them in LARGE & ONE in MEDIUM - that works. Further you can specify (when we send you the email) the DESIGN/PATTERN you want (the DESIGNS are numbered from 1 to 10 to make it easy for you to choose and tell us what you want)!
Once you pick your reward, we will contact you to pick your size and design/ pattern for the shorts. You can mix and match sizes and designs!
You can order a PACK of 2 OR 3 OR 4. Domestic pricing is for shipping only in India. So for the Pack of 2 the lowest price is INR 699 (Early Bird Price) . There are 100 sets of shorts available at that price & then the price moves up to INR 799. To pre-order select the PACK you want from the REWARDS section (This appears to the right of the screen on a DESKTOP. On a MOBILE you need to scroll to the bottom of this page). SELECT YOUR REWARD AND MAKE THE PAYMENT.

Day 0 is the day the campaign gets over! We then get the money from Fueladream to start our ordering of material, production and shipping.
The quality of our product lies the materials we use and the manpower involved. However, due to unforeseen circumstances like strikes, mother nature's fury, acts of God or the government, we might experiences delays. If any of the aforementioned does happen we will be sure to keep all of you in the loop via the Updates tab on the campaign page.
PS: Unless, of course, our owls can't fly that night and the pigeons are on strike too!

Step 4: Respond to the survey we will send to your registered email to pick your size and design. You can mix and match sizes and designs within each reward.
How come we’re so good and still so affordable?
Quality is a non-negotiable factor for us. Keeping this in mind, we have designed The Inside Story shorts using super premium fabrics and quality inks. While this comes at a price, our overheads are at a minimum because we have chosen crowdfunding which means we don’t have to invest in inventory and storage. Therefore, we are able to offer this to you at these amazing prices. You lucky person, you!

Once upon a time, there was a pair of satin shorts. A few years later, we outgrew them. But alas! We couldn’t find their replacement. A few years later, in it’s memory, we decided to make our own and The Inside Story was born.

What are our labour practices?
As people who have worked our way up the food chain, we strongly believe in fair pay policies and equal opportunity. We also believe that children belong in school. All manpower involved in the creation of the shorts are paid and employed as per the Indian Government Guidelines.
Are there any international custom fees?
The cost of the shorts includes international shipping. However, any duty/taxes/local levies etc. if applicable are not factored for and will be the responsibility of the funder. You will need to pay this when you receive the shorts.
Are the shorts waterproof?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
What are the care/cleaning guidelines?
Here is a list of things you can do with these shorts – hand-wash, machine-wash, tumble dry and iron them. You can also dry clean them but why bother?
What is your policy on returns?
We do not have a return policy. Since we are crowdfunding it and doing this at a breakthrough price we cannot afford a return policy. Nice to wear them, good to hold
Once you've bought them, they've been sold. :)
What happens if the shorts are delivered damaged?
If the product is received damaged, you will have 48 hours to contact us and book an exchange. Post the 48-hour period, we will not be in a position to accept exchange requests.

How does crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.
It’s s concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an Idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream is a crowdfunding site and platform in India that allows for such a pooling of funds.
You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on a FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
Other registered users can send their comments/ queries directly to the campaign owner as a message.
