FACTS: Hole in the heart, congenital heart disorders are ailments that affect children at birth and at a young age. Heart surgeries performed on children cost typically between INR 2.5L to 5L in India (USD 3500-7000) depending on the case and complexity.
However, the team at ROTARY in India are able to do these surgeries for just 1L to 2.5L ( USD 1500 to 3750) which is a massive reduction in cost and is a game changer.
We are doing this crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to save the lives of kids suffering from CHD. Please fund this campaign generously. This campaign has 80 G tax benefits.
The money raised will be given directly after the campaign ends to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Once the money is given to the hospital they will use it to save the life of a poor child and share the details with us. We shall then send you an update about the children we have saved so that you know where your money has gone.

We are raising this money to cover the costs of the surgery for a child & the smallest contribution you make will help save their lives. The funds from this campaign will be transferred to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Once the campaign ends, we will post an update to keep the funders (i.e YOU) abreast of which child received the surgery with details about the child, the parents, and the medical procedure.
TAX BENEFITS
Funding to this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as Rotary International is a registered trust & you can avail of benefits under section 80G of the IT act if you file your returns in India. Foreign funding is also accepted.
FEEDBACK THAT YOU GET
To ensure that there is complete transparency we shall post a report (this takes between 2 to 4 months usually after your funding) with the details of the beneficiaries. The details will then be posted on the UPDATES section of this campaign. As soon as we post an update, the platform will send an SMS and EMAIL alert to all the funders - i.e. to you. Will we get to know the details of who benefitted?
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to Rotary International. It will take from 2 to 3 months after that to get details of fund use. Once I get this information from them I shall upload this on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries.
When do I get the receipts?
It takes up to 2 weeks after the campaign is closed for the monies to be transferred to Rotary International. The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
