PIC: CYCLONE FANI HAS DEVASTATED ODISHA.
On the ground one of the biggest concerns is safe drinking water for victims of Cyclone FANI as WATER BORNE DISEASES are the NO 1 issue after a cyclone. The short term approach is to give them bottled water which is too expensive & not sustainable. What NGO's need on the ground is a filter that can take care of microbial contamination. This campaign aims to provide a unique copper based water purifier called Tamras to NGO's on the ground in Odisha. The funds are being raised by Gramonnati, an NGO that is Pondicherry based. They are shipping the TamRas filters to the NGO Seva Bharathi which is already involved in relief operations in Odisha.
Fund 2500 INR and this will help a affected family get a 15L-copper-based water purifier that guarantees them safe drinking water.
While the goal of the campaign is INR 5L please continue funding even after the goal is reached as thousands of these filters are required in the field.

ABOUT GRAMONNATI & SEVA BHARATHI
Gramonnati is a registered NGO that is based out of Pondicherry. They are raising these funds to give the water filters to SEVA BHARATHI which is engaged in relief operations in Odisha.
SEVA BHARATI is a non-government, non-political, non-profiting voluntary organisation established in the year 2001 and then registered under societies Registration Act-XXI of 1860 in the year 2003-2004 bearing registration No-1716-11 of Dt. 03.02.2004. Since its inception, the organisation has been devoting its skill knowledge and commitment the society with a group of experienced and trained social workers.
The main thrust of the N.G.O would be to give immediate relief and rehabilitate the victims of natural calamities, road accident etc. They are located at Seva Bharati, AT/PO- MOUDA, VIA- MADHAB NAGAR, DIST- BHADRAK, ODISHA
