My name is ANIKA SHAH. I am 15 years old and in Grade 10 at the Hill Spring International.

It is extremely disheartening to know that many underprivileged women in Mumbai face harassment and threat on a regular basis. To solve this problem, we have started Project Kanya Suraksha.

Kanya Suraksha literally translated, as the ‘safety of a girl’ is a project that aims to eradicate harassment and rape in Mumbai. We aspire to create a change and make Mumbai safe for all women and girls.

Through this campaign, we are committed to help women in Mumbai slums feel more safe and secure by giving them violation whistles. The whistle is cost effective, easy to use and will help keep them safe at all times. We are mainly focusing on the less fortunate in Mumbai.

It costs just INR 100 to give the Gift of Safety to one woman. Please support my campaign and together let's make Mumbai a safer place.
