About:
My name is Anirudh Jhunjhunwala, I am 16 years old and in Grade 10 at the Bombay International School, Mumbai.
I am a part of a group of high school students all across the city, with a desire to help and make a difference during these unprecedented challenging times. The healthcare attendants, including sweepers, ward boys and assistants at COVID hospitals such as St George hospital and JJ hospital, come from underprivileged backgrounds and live paycheck to paycheck. They are especially vulnerable to the virus and we can support them by ensuring they get to eat nutritious meals every day.
We are organising an event Stepathon to raise funds and provide daily food meals to them so that they can sustain their basic nutritious requirements. While helping feed the frontline healthcare workers, we also want to promote the importance of being fit and healthy especially during this lockdown period when staying active is difficult.
