My name is Jatin Goyal, 16 years old and in Grade 12 at The Heritage School, Kolkata.
Cyclone Amphan has left untold misery and devastation in West Bengal. It caused havoc in at least 14 districts and caused very severe damage in South 24 Parganas, Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, and East Midnapore districts. Relief efforts are being slowed down due to the COVID-19 lockdown and mass rehabilitation is being hindered by the fear of contracting the virus. Many of them have lost a lot of their belongings and the need of the hour is to provide those affected by the Cyclone with an emergency shelter kit and rations. The SHELTER KIT FROM ROTARY HAS 48 ITEMS AND WITH A BASIC RATION KIT WILL HELP THEM TIDE OVER THE CRISIS ON A IMMEDIATE BASIS.
The SHELTER KIT is very thoughtfully designed with clothes, tarpaulin, blankets, lanterns, stove, soaps, candles, plates, glasses, buckets, mugs, rope, etc. This with the Rations will be a comprehensive AID and RELIEF kit.
