Hello! My name is Dhruv Chauhan. I'm 15 years old and in Grade 11 at Jamnabai Narsee International School, Mumbai. This campaign addresses a very sensitive, difficult and unfortunate issue faced by people all over the country.
Ever heard of the struggles faced by children of economically weaker classes, even in living their lives? Many of them are born with a malfunctioning, or slightly abnormal heart, which requires a very expensive surgery, normally ranging between ₹2.5 to 5 LAKH!
Well, I recently heard about it, and was shocked at the statistics. So, I began this campaign, to be able to help save these children's lives, and enable them to enjoy their lives, fit and fine like us. It's nothing complicated, unlike what you may expect.
What's more, with this campaign and B.J. Wadia Hospital's help, this huge cost has been reduced to a tiny fraction of itself: Only ₹60,000 - 1.5 lakhs per surgery overall!
There are literally millions and millions of families, just in India, who cannot afford something as basic as sufficient healthcare for their children. This is where we can step in. Together, we can raise funds. Together, we can save lives. Together, we can make a change.
