My name is Ananya Shibu. I am 14 years old and in Grade 9 at the Bombay Scottish School, Powai.

This campaign will support children suffering from Cancer.

I have undertaken this campaign because I feel for all those families and patients who have to go through the difficult journey of cancer. Although there are several people and Organizations which sponsor the treatment of financially stressed patients, there are very few that help out with an issue that is equally important - "THEIR STAY".

Many outstation families are forced to live on the streets between all the dirt and garbage because they can't afford accomodation in the city. This is extremely unhealthy for the them - both physically and mentally.

Let's make a difference so that families with cancer patients are able to live at ease in clean rooms and accommodation. This allows patients to go through their rehabilitation process smoothly and be less stressed and more optimistic about the future as happiness is the most important cure for this disease. This also dramatically improves recovery rates as hygiene for cancer patients is very important.
