My name is Anandita Kakaria. I am 14 years old and in Grade 9 at the Bombay Scottish School, Powai.

This campaign will support children suffering from Cancer.

I have undertaken this campaign to provide the minimum help I can to those families and patients who have to go through the difficult journey of cancer. Although there are several people and Organizations which sponsor the treatment of financially stressed patients, there are very few that help out with an issue that is equally important - "THEIR STAY".

Their immediate requirement for treatment and the lack of resources has forced them to live on streets, in an extremely unhealthy exposure, being subjected to pollution and extreme heat. One of the necessities for cancer patients to get cured is a happy and lively atmosphere. However their miserable living conditions do not satisfy this essential component. Therefore, as fortunate members of this
society it is our responsibility to help these people lessen their sufferings.

Thus we can try to make a difference by providing accommodation to cancer patients and their families so that they can live comfortably in clean rooms. It will not only lessen their stress and anxiety, but will also allow them to undergo their rehabilitation process smoothly. Furthermore, it will allow them to be more optimistic about the future.
