My name is Arham Mahajan. I am 15 years old and in Grade 10 at the Bombay Scottish School, Powai.
This campaign will support children suffering from Cancer.
It is very heartbreaking to hear about the inhuman conditions the underprivileged cancer patients have to go through, sitting amidst the pollution on the roads. Each day must be a nightmare for them. I cant even imagine a fraction of the pain and suffering the many thousand unlucky families must be going through at this moment. I feel as responsible citizens who have the resources should help these people get a shelter for themselves so that they can recover speedily and not have to face the problem of living on footpaths and roads.
Cancer is a very fatal disease and if not attended to at the right time can even lead to death. Cancer patients especially children become very frail., they start losing hair and during this period it's important that they receive the right treatment. Not only this but a sophisticated place to live so that it ensures their speedy recovery.
I am a child who doesn't have much power to physically or mentally help these unfortunate people. But Fuel a Dream has given all children of our age this wonderful opportunity to reach out to these people. Please help us make a difference.
