About:
I am Arvind Iyengar, a 9th-grade student from Bombay Scottish School, Powai, and I have undertaken a crowdfunding campaign for a basic necessity most families of cancer patients are deprived of, accommodation.
For surviving cancer a patient requires both physical and mental well being. Most poor cancer patients and their families spend a fortune on treatment and travel. Therefore they are unable to afford a roof above them during the months of treatment and thus are forced to live on the roads This affects the patients drastically and even with all the medical treatment, they won't survive as the trauma leaves them without any desire to live.
So let's make a difference so that families with cancer patients are able to live in clean rooms and hygienic accommodation. This allows patients to go through their rehabilitation process smoothly and be less stressed and more optimistic about the future as happiness is the most important cure for this disease.
