My name is Angel Makhija. I am 14 years old and in Grade 8 at The British School.
As India continues to battle the pandemic it is having a severe impact on millions of children who go to school and who come from vulnerable low-income communities. Schools being shut has directly impacted children around the country who go to Govt schools and were dependent on the Mid-Day meal they received every day. These kids are now at home and need nourishment and also something to keep them from boredom. The Happiness kit is the perfect answer and takes care of multiple needs of these children.
I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can also contribute to their well-being of these children in our own small little way. The funds will be used across different states that Akshaya Patra operates across.
